JACOB’S LADDER IS THE KEY
Among the many anticipated questions, there is one that must be answered first:
- What is Jacob’s Ladder?
- What does it have to do with Qumran?
What Is Jacob’s Ladder?
Maimonides explained that Jacob’s vision was a prophetic parable to be understood by breaking apart the words:
“And behold, a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold, the angels of God ascending and descending on it” (Genesis 28:12).
- The word ladder refers to one idea.
- Set up on the earth to another.
- The top of it reached to heaven to a third.
- Angels of God to a fourth.
- Ascending to a fifth.
- Descending to a sixth.
- The Lord stood above it (v.13) to a seventh.
Every word in this figure introduces a new element into the idea represented by the figure.
Interpretation
In this sequence, we will follow Maimonides’ advice and break apart the words of Jacob’s prophecy. After each section, conclusions are based on Masonic, historical, or Qumran definitions. By doing so, we form a basis for understanding Jacob’s prophetic parable, which ultimately aligns with Qumran prophecy.
1. The Word: Ladder
Albert Pike stated:
“The word translated ‘ladder’ is Salam, from Salal — raised, elevated, reared up, exalted, piled into a heap. Salalah means a heap or rampart of earth or stone. Salaa or Salo is a rock, cliff, or boulder — and the name of the city Petra. There is no ancient Hebrew word to designate the pyramid.”
Conclusion: Jacob saw a pyramid-like structure.
2. The Words: Set up on the Earth
The Qumran scroll titled The Vision of Jacob (4Q) explains:
Jacob recognized his vision as a prophecy that needed to be built. But the place where he saw it was not meant to be the actual location. Instead, it pointed forward.
Conclusion: Jacob saw the New Jerusalem Temple above and desired to replicate its specifications on Earth. He later went to Egypt, where the Great Pyramid was built.
Q: Who Was the Builder?
A: Joseph, son of Jacob, also known as Imhotep, Aschopolos, or Pathotep.
Supporting Data
Peter Tompkins, in Secrets of the Great Pyramid, presents strong evidence that Imhotep was the builder of the Great Pyramid. The structure’s mathematical precision—specifically its use of Pi—aligns with known constructions of Imhotep.
Was Imhotep Really Joseph?
Yes. If Imhotep was the builder, and if he matches the biblical account of Joseph, then the evidence points to them being the same individual.
Supporting Evidence:
- Traditional Egyptian dating (especially concerning the Exodus) is flawed due to misidentifying Pi-Rameses as the original Rameses.
- Hebrew sages (e.g., F. David Fry) date:
- Dynasty 1 with Abraham
- Dynasty 3 with Joseph
- Dynasty 6 with Moses
Fry writes that:
- Imhotep was a foreigner (like Joseph)
- Imhotep was Egypt’s first vizier (as was Joseph)
- Imhotep saved Egypt from a seven-year famine (as did Joseph)
- Imhotep built a seven-stepped pyramid, possibly reflecting Jacob’s ladder dream
Fry and Tompkins argue that Imhotep, Joseph, and Ptahhotep were the same individual.
3. The Words: The Top Reached to Heaven
The Great Pyramid is seen as a microcosm of a universal temple. The missing earthly capstone corresponds to the Sun—the “capstone in heaven.”
Freemasonry says:
“The dimensions of the Lodge are unlimited, and its covering no less than the canopy of Heaven… to which the mason’s mind is continually directed, by the aid of the theological ladder Jacob saw…”
4. The Words: The Angels of God
The term angels can also refer to stars in Hebrew.
Albert Pike (Morals & Dogma) writes:
“Stars were so many animated and intelligent beings, or eternal bodies… known by the names of Gods, angels, and Genii…”
5 & 6. The Words: Ascending and Descending
Stars/angels ascend and descend, symbolizing the soul’s journey. The signs of the zodiac were divided into superior and inferior series—representing light and darkness, good and evil, e.g., Ormazd vs. Ahriman, Osiris vs. Typhon.
7. The Words: The Lord Stood Above It
- Albert Pike writes: “The Sun was called Adoni by the Hebrews, meaning Lord.”
- In Hebrew tradition, there are two angels of the Lord—Michael (Melchizedek) and Melche Rashi (a figure in Qumran texts).
What Does Jacob’s Ladder Have to Do with Qumran?
The War Rule predicts a coming war fought by “the mysteries of old.” Jacob’s vision is at the heart of Israel’s hidden knowledge. When this mystery is revealed, the Qumran code will be broken.
The Book of Secrets (1Q27, 4Q299–301) addresses the last generation:
“The vision is sealed up from you… you have not properly understood the eternal mysteries… This is a true oracle… it shall be known to you that it cannot be averted.”
Unsealing the Vision
The Book of Secrets provides keys to understanding:
- Lights of the stars – A memorial of His Name
- Hidden things – Mysteries of light and darkness
- Times of heat and cold- Spring and Fall Equinox
- Breaking of day and coming of night- War of light and darkness
- Origins of things- Foundation Stone
The Key of Life Is Hidden in the Pyramid
An ancient Egyptian papyrus shows a triangle followed by an ankh (key of life). The triangle symbolizes the pyramid.
The Mathematical Key
The Great Pyramid encodes mathematical truths that match celestial patterns:
- Earth–Sun distance ≈ Average 93 million miles
- Earth’s orbit = 365.242 days
- Procession around Pleiades = ~25,800 years , Now known in mean years of @5,694 years.
These numbers reflect intentional divine architecture.
Celestial Geometry in the Pyramid
- Height of Heaven in Scorpio
- The pyramid’s height × 10⁹ = ~91.8 million miles The height to the base represents the distance to the Sun The angle of its slope to its sides is10 to 9.for every 10 feet you ascend up the slope you rise in altitude 9 feet. If you multiply the height by 10 to the ninth power you have 91,840,000 (*Clarence Larkin) This number approximates the distance of the Sun at the Autumn Equinox
- Its base perimeter = 36,524.2 pyramid inches (symbolizing Earth’s year) and can be seen as representing the apparent travel of the Sun in its solar orbit.
- The Grotto & Pleiades
- Sum of diagonals = 25,694 pyramid inches (matching Pleiades cycle)
- Star Mira – The Depth of Heaven
- Mira (meaning “wonderful”) symbolizes the Celestial Abyss
Jacob’s Vision and the Coming War
According to the Vision of Jacob:
- He saw the days of his life
- An angel descending
- Angels at the altar
The “star-man” represents Jacob wrestling the Angel of the Lord. Hebrew tradition speaks of two angels—good and bad—linked with this cosmic conflict.
The Star of Jacob Will Descend
The War Scroll emphasizes this prophetic theme.
Queen Anne’s anagram features:
- Her head on Jacob’s stone
- A ladder with angels ascending to Scorpio and descending to Taurus
In Revelation 20:
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven…”
This is the Serpent Holder (Orion) descending. Orion descends into the pit and rises again.
- Menkar (Cetus) = The Chained Enemy
- Deneb Kaitos = Overthrown or thrust down
- Mira = Wonderful
Why This Is Important
Without this knowledge, Israel will not survive.
Isaiah 29:10–11:
“The Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep… and the vision is become as the words of a book that is sealed…”
To Be Continued; Why will Israel not survive without this information?
